The Memo, And Other Things

Following a good amount of public outcry, the House Intelligence memo has been released.  What is the memo and what information does it contain?  And why did some people on the left and in the media (if you'll forgive the redundancy) not want it released?  To learn some things along those lines, read the following stories:
